Sushi House Oak Park

This place is amazing. We ordered SO much sushi and it was all to die for. The server was helpful and her suggestions were spot on. The martinis were pretty good as well. There’s a cute little spot towards the front that has a nice atmosphere but we ended up a little further back in the restaurant where it’s a bit more open and bright but it was still comfortable and at least we were not sitting too close to other people. The prices are pretty standard and the quality is great, all the fish felt fresh and had good texture. Looking forward to going again

We absolutely love coming to this place! The moment we step through the door, we are greeted by the warmest and friendliest staff, making us feel right at home. Not to mention, the food here is simply outstanding. The sushi is an absolute delight, bursting with freshness and an incredible variety of flavors that are truly unique. We're thrilled that they even have special meals for kids, making it a perfect spot for the whole family. Every visit is an adventure as we eagerly explore the extensive selection of sushi rolls and other delectable dishes they offer. From classic favorites to innovative creations, there's always something new to try and savor. Trust us when we say this place is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food and a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy!

This place used to be my to-go sushi place but it has changed so much. I used to recommend it to everyone but not anymore. The food got dramatically worse. Their rolls used to be big and worth it but at my recent visit, they were tiny tiny and not as tasty. We also got some chicken, vegetable and noodle bowl but the veggies were nowhere to be seen besides few pieces of green onion. It had zero flavor. Had to add seasoning and sauce myself. You can literally get a much better one at any of the Chinese places you drive by. Plus the bowl the food was served was chipped in multiple places and it was not safe. As a restaurant worker myself, it is unacceptable for a place like this to serve on chipped china. Chicken tonkatsu was cold by the time it got to our table and rice was definitely cooked hours before and found many dry pieces. Our server was okay, but just okay. Didn’t really engage with us besides taking order, plus for some reason he wasn’t writing it down and was coming back to our table multiple times to confirm our picks. Overall, that was my last visit. Never coming back and do yourself a favor and find some other good sushi restaurant.

I’ve been hitting up this spot for about three years now, and I can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet. The food is killer, and the vibe is just right. First off, shoutout to the waitstaff; they go above and beyond, so make sure to tip well. The food tastes as good as it looks—check out my photo for proof. The menu’s got a lot of variety, and it even got us buying some Honey Citron Tea from H-Mart. Plus, if you want a bit more privacy, they’ve got a couple of secluded areas where you can chill with your crew. Don’t sleep on this place. And hey, go for the pricier stuff on the menu—it’s totally worth it.
